Nicole Ortiz began dance at the age of three. She has trained in ballet tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and pop n lock .studying with her mom, Debra Wood, has allowed her the opportunity to perform, student teach, and instruct many students over the years.

She has been a member of the P.D.C for 10yrs. The company has performed in venues such as the Glens Falls civic center, Saratoga annual Youth For Christ "Excel", Bleecker Stadium, The Egg (Albany) Times Square NYC just to name a few.

Nicole is an advanced student, taking additional classes from NYC finest teachers including Jarid Grimes and Cheryl Cutlip. Preferring jazz and tap but remaining faithful to ballet technique, she performed in the nutcracker with ballet Atlantic in Tarry Town Music Hall, 2004.

Nicole recently has acquired pop n lock skills and enjoys teaching and choreographing. This past year she is offering free pop n lock lessons with a new ministry "NICOLES KIDS". Dancing is her life, as she is entering into the professional level; she's an inspiration to Guiding steps.
